Brisbane North Cougars
Brisbane North Netball Club commenced their franchise in late 2018 with Netball Queensland’s introduction of the Sapphire and Ruby League competitions. These competitions will provide a platform for players, coaches and umpires to step up to the national stage. Replacing the highly successful Queensland State Netball League, these competitions will continue seeing our locally grown players, participating weekly in a Queensland state level competition.
The Club has emanated from the highly successful Brisbane North Cougars Netball franchise. The franchise saw the region become the most successful netball region in Queensland. Brisbane North Cougars can boast numerous Queensland State League Premierships:
The Brisbane North Netball Club is one of the largest netball Club’s participating in the Netball Queensland’s Sapphire and Ruby competitions.
The Club consists of five netball associations: Brisbane; Downey Park; Pine Rivers; Queensland Catholic; and Redcliffe Leagues.
The Brisbane North Netball Club is fortunate to have our five associations working hard with the Club to develop opportunities for our young players, coaches, umpires and officials.
The Brisbane North Netball Club takes pride in delivering to these members the best coaching, education, facilities and equipment to maximise participation and enjoyment in the sport of netball. With over 10,000 athletes, 2,000 officials ranging from five years old to mature adults the Brisbane North Netball Club is a significant and essential component of the Queensland netball community.
